At Mount Street Academy we work with children and their families to get the very best out of everyone. We are all proud to belong to a school where everybody works together for the good of our children and community.

Parental involvement is encouraged and greatly appreciated. A range of opportunities is provided throughout the year for parents to engage with the school in support of their child’s learning and general development. These include:

• Open classroom book looks
• ‘Share’ – an opportunity for you to share the classroom learning experience
• Parents' evenings
• Curriculum meetings
• Shared mornings

Many family members also help in school in a variety of ways, including volunteering within the classroom, being part of our Parent/Teacher Association, FOMS (Friends of Mount Street), or with outings.
